Professional Vocation Webinar

Professional Vocation Webinar in partnership with ESSEC Alumni

We are very happy to have been able to animate this webinar on the theme:

“Professional vocation: how to find your rightful place? in partnership with ESSEC Alumni.

To find the job that fully suits us, we discussed a 4-point method:

  • What are our talents? What are our special and unique skills that are our specific brand? A talent is a natural ability that we use with joy, unlike skills that are learned and do not always make us happy or proud. The challenge is to take the good from his experiences to better move towards his new future. Thus, we start on a healthier basis with a better defined professional project to move in the right direction.
  • What are our aspirations? How to take into account our centers of interest, clarify our motivations, our needs and find our deep desires? Aspirations are centers of interest and tastes, but also deep motivations, psychological needs, everything that defines the “why”, the mission that one wishes to accomplish with his professional project.

  • What are the opportunities ? Confront our talents and aspirations with reality to choose the path that suits us in the field of possibilities. The match between your talents and aspirations, and the needs of the market, represent the opportunities that you can seize to find your professional vocation. To find new opportunities you can:

    • Advance in your current company through a different or higher position.

    • If you are not currently employed, you can structure your search taking into account your talents and aspirations.

    • Reorient yourself professionally or change jobs completely.

    • A big step forward which requires taking a step back but which will bring a precise meaning to your future activity.

  • What is the action plan? Now is the time to take the first step and overcome the obstacles:

    • Activate your network to inform you, guide you and study the feasibility of your project

    • You train to acquire the necessary technological skills and develop the skills necessary for your project

    • You can also go through an intermediate position which will act as a stepping stone between your current position and the future position.

And how did you find your vocation?
