International recruitment

One of our clients, a French company specializing in food ingredients, with 37 production sites in 19 countries, asked Leaderia and its IFRA partners ( International Food Recruitment Alliance (IFR-A) to support it in recruiting 6 R&D profiles, in a particularly complex context:

  • Rapid growth (internal and external)
  • An increase in the need for innovation in meat alternatives
  • A specific corporate DNA

In this context, our cient needed 6 R&D profiles at different locations in Europe, specifying that technical skills and mentality were extremely important: entrepreneurial, transformation oriented, ability to think “outside the box”. We were therefore entrusted with:

  • 2 positions in France, managed by Leaderia
  • 1 position in the UK and 1 in Belgium, carried out by Focus Management
  • 2 positions in the Netherlands, successfully recruited by Dupp

In order to make these projects a success, the main element was a perfect coordination and synchronization of the 6 processes in these 4 European countries. To be effective in our mission, we have each recruited in our local markets with a common approach and method.

A single contract and a single partner in charge of the client made the development of the project easier for our client. The exchanges were therefore able to be fluid, dynamic and responsive between us, recruitment consultants, and the various people in the company. There was little need for back and forth during this process. IFR-A consultants were also able to build bridges with international candidates, including 1 based in the UK who ultimately chose recruitment in France.

It was, once again, a fantastic experience to carry out an intercultural mission with a client, to support him in growing at European level, thanks to solid coordination, based on local expertise and a common approach.
