In direct report to the Head of Foodservice, your main assignments are :
- Spread into the group the knowledge of the Foodservice, all over the world in order to make the company an expert of the sector
- Map the customers' R&D structure and develop relationships with key contacts in order to get new briefings/opportunities
- Provide accounts with a continuous support so that they enjoy a high-quality service in order to promote profitable sales relationships
- Support the sales thanks to a deep knowledge of customers, allowing them to make relevant decisions in order to achieve (or overcome) the sales objectives
- Manage (transversally) and coordinate the global projects supported by local new products teams
- Behave like an inspiring leader for the teams, while finding solutions to problems and thinking out of the box
- Train and manage local NPD teams within a matricial organization in compliance with the company's rules and global working methods
- Support the category plans development for the customers
You have an Engineering Degree or equivalent and a minimum 5-year experience in the Foodservice environment as an R&D head of project, an R&D head of product, a head of new products, an innovation manager, a head of design thinking or similar functions as long as you operate in the development of new products.
Your knowledge of beverage, toppings and/or flavours are a real assets. A familiarity with food packagings and technologies would be appreciated.
You are able to easily transfer knowledge to other people, especially in a cross-cultural environment and to support the teams to become experts of foodservice. Your network skills are very solid.
Inspiring leadership (transversal management), capacity to switch from a project to another, ability to prioritize, customer- & solution- orientation and team player mindset are your main strong points !
